for children aged 10-14, followed by a concert with Durham's Young Singers.

Students from across Durham Region between the ages of 10 and 14, will experience a fun day of singing! This unique vocal workshop will be under the direction of Anna Lynn Murphy and professional associates and alongside members of the Young Singers. They will learn about their vocal mechanism as they explore
the basic skills of healthy singing and experience the teamwork required to make a great choir! Vocal technique, deep breathing, pure vowels and performance techniques are all topics to be investigated, as they experience a musical education through artistry. The morning and afternoon workshop will culminate in a guest appearance with Young Singers at a very special concert that same evening. Families and friends will be able to marvel at what these children have learned as they share the stage with various choirs of Young Singers. Treble Notes and Director's Choir will be participating in the workshop at various times throughout the day.
