The Random Notes offers young people ages 14 to 20 the opportunity to further develop their choral skills as they sing advanced repertoire in a Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass choir. Random Notes perform in various settings throughout the season.
Requirements: Previous musical experience is necessary for this advanced ensemble, with commitment to weekly Wednesday evening rehearsal and numerous performances.
Admission by audition and interview.

ANNA LYNN MURPHY graduated from Queens University with a Bachelor of Music. Her ensuing career with Hart/Murdock Artist Management gave Anna Lynn the opportunity to develop the careers and orchestrate tours for internationally renowned singers and choirs.
As founder and director of Young Singers, Anna Lynn now shares her musical expertise, her love of singing and her energy with the youth in her community, as they discover and explore the beauty of expression and communication through choral music.
While maintaining a private voice studio, Anna Lynn also enjoys adjudicating at music festivals, and giving choral and vocal workshops. She has shared her expertise with many school boards, music festivals, and choirs. Anna Lynn is Music Director at St.Dunstans of Canterbury Anglican Church. She enjoys a busy family life, and when she has spare time, she loves to…SING!
LOIS CRAIG has an A.R.C.T. in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto. She obtained a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, Montreal and then earned a Master of Music in accompanying and Piano Pedagogy from Southern Methodist University, Dallas. Lois teaches piano to children and adults and accompanies singers and instrumentalists. Lois is the accompanist for the Young Singers organization and is the Director of Music at St. Paul’s United Church in Ajax.
